01About

The engineer is the differentiator.

Most people keep application development, cloud infrastructure, and the physical built environment separate. I don't. Through Pen Homes I design both a home and its intelligence: the floor plan and the nervous system that runs through it. The engineering isn't an add-on to the architecture; it's how the architecture thinks.

In the first person

I'm a full-stack and DevOps engineer with more than seven years building and scaling production systems for teams in the US, Italy, and Ghana. I work across the whole stack: React and Next.js on the front, Node.js and PHP microservices on the back, and AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform underneath.

What sets my work apart is the range: I've shipped an 85% performance gain that drove 300%+ revenue growth, built apps that handle hundreds of thousands of records a day, and recently taken two products end to end: a production lighting-design suite and a Cloudflare-native RAG platform with vector search and content agents.

  • I'd rather a plan be provably correct than merely plausible.
  • If a design element has no function, it is dead code.
  • I undersell in conversation and let the work stand on its own.
